Leaders are thirsty for success

The routes to success are many and varied. Ask your Mentor (get one!) about how they made a success of their career; the answer might surprise you! It can range from looking after your customer to doing whatever it takes. For some, the academic route worked the best; for others, Leadership came when the events unfolded somewhat differently from what they had planned. Other Leaders made their success through sheer guts and determination. There is, therefore, no secret recipe for success; even winning the lottery will not satisfy a Leader's thirst! Here are some tips ranging from preparation to risk-taking, from the importance of gaining experience to using it to good effect.
